Many Milestones

These past few weeks have been full of milestones for our family.   Last week, Megan came home from her first year of college.  It has been a fun year watching her experience a traditional freshman year experience. We asked her what was the best about this year, and she said that she loved being near family and Snowboarding!

I personally appreciated all the service she provided her Grandmother.  My mom Gram.  

Megan had wonderful roommates this year.   We are patiently (well we are trying to be patient) awaiting her mission call! 

We returned home, in time for a special Mother's Day.  I was able to be with the family and celebrate JT's graduation from Southern New Hampshire University with his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Business Intelligence  it was wonderful to be there to celebrate this milestone with both he, Amber, and of course Brooklyn Sue. 

This is my favorite photo ^ it captures the laughter and happiness of our day.  They have worked so hard for this.  Jason and I probably overstate how proud we are of both Amber and JT. They have both completed their education while working full-time, and JT is a member of the bishopric in Manchester.  

B had her Junior Prom over the weekend as well.  Maddie B looked beautiful!  We enjoyed spending the afternoon helping her and her friends get ready.  Megan was the #1 hair dresser for all the girls. We were all happy and surprised when we found out that she was elected Prom Queen.  She is our Queen B. #tiara 

Today, YES TODAY!!! our Marine checked-out and is officially on his way home.  Having honorably served in the Marine Corps for more years than I can believe.  He is coming home.  We are so excited to have he and Kodie spend the summer with us in New Hampshire.

This photo was take 3.5 years ago, one of the first pictures he was able to send me.  A worried mom who had not heard from her son in weeks.  I save it to remember to have gratitude for my many blessings.

While serving this last year at Camp Pendelton, Tanner met Kodie Jones and we are so excited that they are starting this next chapter together.
